you're gonna need to tell me what this event is about. first hit in google says it happened late march in las vegas...
anyway, what is this mod 09?

I think it's still in Cali. Hopefully they start to branch off and get closer to Texas. lol From what I hear from one of my friends in the military (owns a 3000GT VR-4) It's a really interesting event with alot of give aways, dyno challenge and some other cool things, alot of sponsers as well, but that is as much as i know. Would be cool to go to, i think.

Mitsubishi Owner's Day 2009 will be held
July 11th at the
Mitsubishi Motors headquarters in
Cypress, California from 10am-3pm. Come join 2,000 Mitsubishi fans to celebrate all the reasons that make Mitsubishi number one. Owners and enthusiasts are invited to bring their favorite Mitsubishi vehicle to park in the show and shine. Families, friends and, yes, even dogs are welcome to join the fun for a day of music, mingling and Mitsubishi.
See both the i-MiEV and Outlander GT concept vehicles along with other surprise Mitsubishis from around the world, and get an exclusive look at the new Lancer Sportback before it hits the market. Puppy-lovers, be sure to check out the "Doglander," an Outlander specially tricked out for discerning canines.
The AMS Performance Race Team will be bringing their newest Lancer Evolution race cars for display, all the way from Chicago. Be sure to visit their booth as well as the other great vendors attending the event.
Get out your sketch-pads for the official MOD t-shirt design contest and enter for the chance to become the official T-shirt designer of MOD 2009 (see the box on this page for details). Stop by, get a winning design t-shirt, hear insider information from Mitsubishi execs and automotive journalists, and let us thank you for being a Mitsubishi owner.
