Just wrecked my Evo, locked my brakes on a turn dodging an animal and hit a telephone pole. So I'm out for now. I'll post picures up later this week. All parts are for sale, only thing damaged was passenger side. Engine was still running after wreck, had to turn it off. Passenger side is gone. Let me know if yall have any advice for this kind og thing. If anyone wants any parts, let me know.

For the record, i hate cats now.

Damn, I feel your pain, I got into an accident last year with my is300 attempting to dodge a raccoon off the highway ..spun around, lost control and landed on the otherside of the oncoming traffic...

Just be blessed you're in 1 piece ... I hate raccoons!

 

The rural roads out here in Royse City (I'm in Hunt County not far from the Redline Raceway) can be pretty narrow, doesn't leave much margin for driver error if an emergency happens.

 

Thanks yall, and yeah, car is a total loss and i'm parting it out because i don't know if i'll get another evo. The engine and everything else, aside from the right side is perfect. This is one sad day, was pretty proud of that car too. And everything that is good is for sell, look at my signature, has all the aftermarket stuff on it.

Kinda sucks to have to leave the scene over something stupid, everyone here was really helpful, good group of people, hopefully i'll get back into it one day.

I've heard multiple times... hit the animal. The things that happen with you try and avoid it are almost always worse than hitting the animal. And there will be remains to show the insurance adjuster

I'm glad you're ok though! Would be quite silly if you made it through the desert only to get messed up by a ***** cat
