Origionaly posted by John in NASIOC;

"We have put together a very special dyno day/meet for TXIC and the DFW Mazda crew.

The meet will take place on Sunday, July 26th. Pizza and drinks will be provided. We will have access inside the shop as well so that we aren't cooking in the Texas sun. Staff will be on hand to help with purchases should the itch to buy some springs or a downpipe arises!

They Dyno Day portion of the meet will start at 9am sharp. Boost and AFR will be monitored. We have 15 slots available and a 10 slot back-up list. The cost will be $45 for 3 pulls. You are sharing these slots with Mazda owners so these slots are FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE.

Your car needs to be in top shape (i.e. fresh oil change, no leaks, no turbo issues, etc.). Cobb will inspect the car before it goes on the dyno. If your car experiences issues, it will be pulled and replaced with a back-up. They don't want cars breaking that day.

I will have a couple lists going on...one for attendees and another for the dyno. Let me know if you want to do one or both so that we can get a proper head count for food. Dyno times will be sent out once the time slots have been filled and compiled.

This is going to be a great time! Hope to see you guys out!"

Stock stock, or "Stock" stock? I think 236 awhp and 249 awtq is pretty good for an off the shelf MR. If you go by the numbers Cobb puts out for the AccessPort, you would expect 280whp/296wtq from that same car with just the Stage 1 93 octane OTS map, plus a better area under the curve at the top end.

yeah it is still considered stock for just drop in and uicp. at least 300to the wheels is the goal.

Chris of Cobb say it's Ok for a NTEC dyno day. Give him a call Goffygrin. Im just 5 minutes away from that shop.

vimeo.com is a great site for HD videos.

Here's my dyno (from when I got my accessport back earlier this year)

At that time I had these power mods: AEM intake, full UR TBE with a ceramic HFC. Stage 2 custom map with the boost pill removed.
