From: Tx,
what is this...

happens for the 3rd time in random, let's say im doing 40mph and needs to turn right lift the gas w/o braking then it's like car has fuel cut or loss power ,it breaks suddenly maybe 1/2 seconds, heard a 1 big pop sound and it feels the car hit a hump. the rpm is not near redline. it's weird it's like i lost gas,air then it's ok. never happens if im braking or accelerating, no engine light. not sure if i need a reflash. i don't have any reflash at all.im sure i did not lost traction and the asc light is off(it's MR)

Wow, thats a lot to figure out.

Does it seem like your car is down shifting, becuase I have heard complaints of the MR downshifting pretty hard during random deaccelerating times? I have yet to experience any of it, but if I were you, I would call the mad scientist Kevin.

pop sound is not from the tranny or exhaust. it's like this accelerate lift the gas off very quickly(w/o braking) and then a pop sound then it's like the front end hit something, it's like i hit the breaks qiuckly and release it quickly. happens in random. is it overboosting or knocking?or a bad MAF sensor. my car idle good.

Put the car in manual shifting mode then try to replicate the issue without touching the paddles. Just lift off the gas and see what happens.

If the sound and feeling goes away then we might be able to assume that it was the car down shifting - which I'm sure that's probably what it is.

Give it a try.
