simple camera mount

just a small straight metal, drill it x 2, bend it. i put the plastic cover under the metal so it will not vibrate. will test later.

So... how you going to turn that on from the driver's seat? And I guess you don't have kids.

race track = no remote (becomes a missile or rattles around). Also, I'd bet dollars to donuts that you'll forget (I've forgotten with the one on my windshield!).

I mounted one to where my dome light goes, but my car's way to stiff/rattly to make it work well.

my issue with this vidz is it has a hard drive protect, when it shake too much it will turn off. jst for fun it's ok. i don't know where to mount a camera that it will not shake.

I build a camera mount for that location using an L bracket and some felt washers to help reduce the vibration. I never could get it to work right. Too much vibration from the chassis travels up into the camera. That and with the camera that far back it seems to lose the sense of speed. You may have better luck with it than I did. So far it seems the best solution I have seen is a front windshield mount. It's easy to access, has a good view, and keeps the speed perspective well.
