Kelford, GSC, and Cosworth were using improperly machined MIVEC intake cores for quite a while which is why I'm very hesitant to recommend anything but FP cams for the IX. GSC is actually still using those defective cores on their S1 camshafts. IMO faulty parts are unexcusable and any company worth a damn will stand behind their products and make things right with their customers who have experienced failures. Maybe its just me, but I don't bend over and just take it w/o lube for someone else's mistake
