I have a set of used Swift Spec-R Springs for the Evo 8/9. Only used them for about a year or so before going to coilovers.

They do a very good job of keeping the car pretty flat and reducing a lot of the body roll you'll encounter with the stock suspension. They also lower the car about an inch so it looks better too. I used them for autocross and noticed a great improvement but they would also be good for track too.
