Contact PlanoEvo, he has a pretty good stock and is extremely quick at getting it to you. He also doesn't do a huge markup like some vendors. I used to be a preferred customer and pick up direct from the warehouse. I have a price list, which is discounted from the website and Plano charges nearly the same price as the pricelist, usually adding a dollar or so.

The DFW AMSOIL distribution house is located in Arlington off of Division and 360. If you go to AMSOIL's website, and pay 20 bucks for a year, you get all there products at a discounted rate. You can either have them ship if from the Arlington location to your house, or you can just go and pick it up. Once you order, you can literally walk in there 30 minutes later and pick up your stuff, instead of waiting a day or so.

In my Evo, now Chris's, I used AMSOIL SSE or SSO 0W-30. Normally it cost 12.00 bucks a quart, but if you become a yearly member, it only cost $8.10. Plus you get the oil filters at a discounted cost along with Mothers car products.

Here is the oil link: http://www.amsoil.com/storefront/sso.aspx

Here is a list of all the fluids and products you'll need for your 05 VIII

If I were to use any Amsoil products I'd go through Andrew (PlanoEvo).

no clue on the weight. i was prolly gonna try the 0w30. would that be ok?

no clue on the power lever because im not tuned right now. im running an hta35 so ill prolly be around 450-500? im getting the tune in a few days which is why im trying to do this oil change

driving habits: i do normal driving and every now and then get on it. dont race much so it just really gets me from a to b. some days faster then others

i have no clue on the temps. i dont have a way to monitor them. i just got evoscan and openport 2.0 so ill check THROUGH that and see if it picks any of them up.
