I also have the AMS shifter gate pivot bushing installed to take up even more of the slop.
TWM is very nice and robust, 30% throw reduction is really nice. It really isn't that difficult at all to install it. I would say with someone who has done it before you are looking at about 30 minutes. Replacing my shifter was probably the easiest mod I did apart from just direct bolt on parts that required no extensive removal steps.

It was a tough choice between the WORKS and TWM, but in the end it came down to being offered a deal on the WORKS I couldn't pass up when TWM wasn't offering me anything but the 5% new customer discount (I see they now have an additional 10% discount through July 4th).

Personally, I think it all comes down to cost like you said. I got my on Black Friday so I think I got like 20-30% off. Basically, if you get one and it doesn't break you are golden .

I agree. The only reason I picked up my TWM short shifter is because they had a massive group buy on the "other" forum. I got the shifter and shifter base bushings shipped for basically the price of the shifter alone without shipping.

Just dropped my car off at Trade Secret...good old Ben said it would be a quick and easy fix....basically some new door skins and proper color matching....and doneski...he even said it be about a week after they received the parts...so maybe i'll make it to the newb modding day....

It took them almost two weeks to get the parts from Mitsu, hopefully it'll be quicker for you.

For metal shifter bushings I would like to recommend the TWM self-lubricating bronze ones to you, but they only make the correct size for the 2008 X, your next best choice would be the AMS shifter base, under-hood, and gate selector bushing set. They're $105 + shipping from AMS, but my guess is MAP could get you the complete set for under $100 shipped. I've always been a fan of solid metal bushings and with proper lubrication should be fine for you.

*edit*
I have a message in to Patrick @ TWM just to verify they do not have proper fitment for 2010 models at this time.
