MAP short-runner exhaust manifold with a custom heatshield to protect the plastic valve cover! I also got MAP's firewall and sensor shields, but those are production pieces with pictures on their website so I didn't bother taking any. The manifold is coated internally with MAP's black ceramic (same that's on my turbo).

Nice manifold! How far into the runners can they actually coat?

I like my cancelled SCCA membership and my renewed LSC BWM Membership. I dislike my ruptured driver CV boot and going out of town front rotors. Centric's incoming...plus a trip to EvoD for a CV rebuild!

You would think after all these years something more robust would be in use.

So does reggie. Seems to be a common theme lately for the x. I may have to order a few more boots and keep em on the shelf.

I would keep in mind that Jose's car, Reggie's car (I think) and my car are all 2008's. Could just be wear over the years which the later models might experience later down the road. Mitsu might have gotten better parts for the later models though. We'll just have to wait and see.

Externally coated silver by SPC, internally coated black by MAP, and ready to be installed!
