I don't really care much for rant threads, especially when it's full of complaining and not praise. If you do too, feel free to hit the Back button, because this is probably the most trivial rant you'll ever read; however, know that it includes some flashy emoticons!

Let it be known that if you take your ride into Downtown Dallas, be prepared for people driving a Lexus, Mercedes, BMW, or Honda (i.e., almost everyone around you) to put the nose of their mostly overpriced metal 6" behind the butt of your car.

Here are my two problems with this:

1) No road is flat in Downtown, and on your way into Downtown most are inclined. Granted, it's a small gradient, but it's still present.

2) I KNOW that when the light turns green, the individual who felt it necessary to pratically kiss my car's ace is going to frantically wish I was not ever so present in front of them so they can hit it full throttle to make the next light (about 150 ft. away) before anyone else.

What 1) and 2) mean for me is I have to prematurely wear down my clutch because if I don't start moving ASAP, the jerk behind me is going to make some sort of attempt to take the 6" gap between our cars and use that to somehow jump around my into the next lane, which in turn makes it even MORE likely that I'll get scraped. Sometimes I think the GSR has a magnet installed in the rear bumper

If there was a bumper sticker that would fix bad driving habits, I would seriously consider slapping it on.
