Well,

as most of you know..i got burnt pretty bad by mitsu on the whole warranty thing. They really pissed me off to the point it wasn't worth it anymore.

Got a good price on the trade in, so finally got rid of it. it is a sad day indeed, as i loved the car. when it was running..it was amazing! Great looking car and got a lot of attention.

Traded it in last night and picked up an E60 M5. LOVE IT. V10 power is amazing, and it drives like a dream. I know i'll miss the handling of the evo, but i will not miss the service i recieved.

Unfortunately, after all thats happened, i will never buy a mitsu again. but i definitely hope to see you guys around! The NTEC group has been great and i really loved making friends with everyone. i will still stop by evo dynamics from time to time to say hi, and maybe even a meet or two. Again, thanks everyone!

Which dealer did you have the issue? I was really debating on getting a second Evo, so I dont want to go somewhere that has issues.

 

your gonna need more power to hang with most of the evos

i hear dinan offers a stroker kit for your car, its a great deal too

31,000 dollars for the engine, offers 120hp more then stock

the exhausts are a great deal too... like 5,000 dollars

 

it wasn't dealer specific, it was the issue with the regional service advisor who will go to all the dealers in the area.

Yea, I could care less about the warranty on any car once I mod it.

Nevertheless, you picked a nice but very expensive alternative! Good Luck!
