Need some help. Having trouble with alignment.
Well my car has been in an accident before and its effecting my alignment. So far, the most negative camber I can pull from the passenger rear is -.6 degrees. Also, the coilover on that wheel rubs against the upper control arm. It was a pain in the *** to bolt that coil onto the lower control arm when I installed them.
I know something is bent back there but I can not figure out what it is.
My main question is:
What effects camber the most? Would it just be the lower control arm? Everything looks ok just from eye balling it but something has to be bent. Could upper control arm cause my problem? What about toe arm?
I think im going to order some adjustable control arms but would hate to spend nearly 400$ if it ends up being something else. Any advice or does anyone know how I could properly detect a bend? I guess I could take all the pieces off and compare them to the driver side but that would be very time consuming.
What do you guys think?

I would go to one of the trusted shops and have them take a look. It could be something as simple as the control arm, or as in depth as where the arms mount. The whole rear suspension could be pushed over. I would hit up PTP and see what they say, they also have a hunter alignment rack so they can double check your readings.
If you are all the way in Dallas, you can hit up Cobb as well, but I do not have personal experience with them concerning suspension.

Thing is..I'm a DIY'r and try not to pay labor/diagnosis fees as much as possible.
Seems like I might have to get it looked at by a professional though.
I might try the afi adjustable control arms and see if those help. If not I'll take it to Cobb.
I have a buddy that has been doing alignments for a long time and we have access to an alignment rack whenever we want so it's no biggie.
Thanks for te reply though.

yeah, Iv been looking around and saw those.
anyone know the difference between AFI, Megan, and Agency Power?
They all look similar but pretty huge price difference.
AFI=299 shipped
Megan= around 400-450
Agency Power=500
Out of those 3, I would probably choose AFI but not because of the price. Just think they look better then the other 2. What do yall think?

If it was it, why wasn't it straightened back out? Upper mount, lower control arm - could be bent.
A good frame shop should be able to tell you whats off. You're likely to not be able to eyeball the deflection in there. A small amount can do a lot of changes.

I understand the DIY attitude, I am the same way, but you need to realize there are some instances where getting a second set of eyes/ equipment to look at the car is better than throwing parts/cash at the car that may or may not fix your issue.
I agree. This is one of those times when you need to get an actual professional looking at the car rather than just blinding throwing money at it. Cobb just dealt with this exact same issue, but on a customer's Subaru, a few weeks ago.

I have never herd of PTP but ill look into it. FT Worth is pretty far though. I cant remember the last time I was over there. Cobb is like 15 min away so might look into that first.
I think im going to get the adjustable control arms anyways. They look pretty dope. We also noticed the eccentric bolts on the lower control arms seem to move after some time. Something definitely has to be bad back there. I think the new arms will take care of that since they dont use eccentric bolts.
I guess ill be using my tune money on the diagnosis...
