Why?

Ask Richard about draining the 93 out of my tank on 121 sometime. Rev limiter in 5th in the X is not slow.

Top speed on the GSR with standard 5 speed is a touch over 160 with the rev limiter removed. The MR is slightly higher due to gearing.. This thread owners car has a modded Shep tranny so Im sure its geared for 180.

the top speeds are quite a bit higher then that. my evo 8 with stock turbo/tranny hit 173 when i first started modding it. that was about all it could muster at the time.

if you do any mods at all to them they will go pretty fast with open road. dales car with stock gearing is setup to do over 200. 9000rpm rev limit and 700whp will get you there for sure i have no doubt victors car was doing 180mph+ when the wing broke. we usually dont change the gearing very often on cars because they can still top out at high speeds. i've had a car get a 4.11 final and it totally destroyed the feel of the car (not enough torque). although i'm sure with enough power it would have gone fast
