NTEC mention on Cobb Dyno Vids

So I'm in Lubbock right now with my girlfriend who's having a medical school interview out here and for some reason I started recalling a lot of the NTEC member dyno videos by Cobb while trying to nap on the motel sofa. Judging by the EvoM forum posts, Cobb and NTEC have a good relationship of both business and pleasure. The follow-up thought that pooped into my head after this is why haven't I seen an NTEC reference anywhere in the dyno videos? It would be good PR for both NTEC and Cobb, I think, if after the dyno pull Cobb just splashed a quick "NTEC - North Texas Evo Club" with a link. Before learning about NTEC myself, I watched plenty of Cobb pulls on youtube, some of whom were NTEC members. If I had seen the link in one of those, I would have been able to see a lot of what the club was about before purchasing my X, which I think would be pretty cool for others considering Evos since some dealerships may not promote NTEC like Don Herring does. What do you all think about Cobb adding this? I would imagine the link need only be placed on videos of NTEC members.

sounds logical to me!
hey, anything that leads to new members, new owners, and
highlighting the many sponsors/benefits/actvities seemingly unique to NTEC,
thanks for bringing this up!!

I can talk with Kevin @ Cobb and I'm sure he'd be willing to flash the NTEC logo in the dyno videos of NTEC members.

at this point in the game almost all of the EVO X's here in NTEC have been tuned by us or have an AP (and will eventually get protuned).... I guess going forward, I can do something.

Maybe add a 4th line to the digital typing in the beginning, like "NTEC Member - Kracka" or something.

I wouldn't mind posting a link, but "https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/north-texas-evo-club-ntec-303/" doesn't exactly roll off the tongue, ya know?

On our facebook page, I have occasionally name dropped NTEC on several occasions when members have been dyno'd or we've done events together.

Thoughts?

I think that would be a good idea. Although as you said, most of us X owners have already passed through Cobb so unless we decide to do something else to our cars, there probably won't be many more videos made (except for newer members of course). The only exception I can think of would be another dyno day.

I do like the idea of flashing the NTEC logo in the video. Either right after the Cobb intro or at the end. I imagine that from a marketing standpoint, Cobb will want "CobbTuning.com" to be the last thing a person sees on the video, so if the NTEC logo were to be put at the end, I'm guessing it would be after the dyno chart but before the Cobb outro.

Yeah I realize most guys here have been (finely) tuned by you guys at some point. I can be the guinea pig in the summer if no NTEC members have yet rolled through and there hasn't been another dyno day .

I like Rmondoh's suggestion

On a completely differnt note.... Kevin does a great job with the videos and web site postings. The music isnt over-loud, so you can hear the car. The video isnt sketchy and distorted. He shows the numbers for a resonable amount of time so you dont have to pause the clip. I for one appreciate the effort he goes to. Thanks Kevin.
