Since this is coming up next week, is there a plan set up for where to have lunch or anything? I remember last year we met at Los Lupes (which was right next to Don Herring Mitsu but has now relocated to Irving Mall just down the road) and then went to the Dallas Auto Show. Are we planning on doing anything like that this year as well??

 

Don did mention lunch, if he doesn't chime in with an idea I'll give him a call today or tomorrow.

The group will meet up on Saturday, Apr 9 at Don Herring Mitsubishi Irving at 12:00noon, then adjourn to lunch at Los Lupes <edit>nearby at Irving Mall<edit> at 12:30pm. After lunch we'll caravan down to the Dallas Convention Center (DCC). I believe Don is providing complimentary tickets to everyone, once we arrive at DCC, to get in the auto show for free.

Wednesday is for the small group of us who are displaying our cars in the NTEC booth, that Don has so generously provided, in the Dallas Auto Show. The cars for display need to be at DCC at 4pm Wed. The separate "participant" thread covers this in more detail.

Just a correction to the above info by Don and Mark...

Not sure if you guys are aware, but Los Lupes is no longer next to Don Herring Mitsu Irving. It has moved to the Irving Mall (which is just down the road some). It's on the southern face of the mall. It faces highway 183. It is where Fuddrucker's used to be.

I don't know if that changes the plan but I haven't been there since they moved so I don't know how big the location is, much less how big their party room is. Just a heads up though!

 

Parking is like $10 so bring some cash.

 

im a maybe, but all my roommates want to come (all car guys). So it would be me +3 if that is ok. but they all might not come, that is worst case scenario
