Swift Spec R vs Eibach Pro

I can't decide what I want, so I figured I'd ask who has one of these set ups and if I could catch a ride to feel how they are. Anyone closer to the Hurst/Euless/Bedford area? Hard to make the drive out to Plano on my schedule right now

I definitely like the drop from the Pro's better, but hear they are bouncier than the Spec R's. Trying to do as much research as I can before pulling the trigger.

I love swift springs, i had them on my s2k and now on 06 mr. Its not specR tho but ive read specR are better. if they gives just little bit more drops, it would be perfect. If mine was evoX, i could help you better.

Where in HEB are you? We might be able to work something out for the weekend. I'm at 121/Harwood Rd.

Here's my impression of the Eibach Prokits. I honestly can't tell the difference between these springs and the stock springs. The only time you notice the difference is when you scrape on stuff when you THINK you can clear it, lol. I have a perfect example for you that actually happened and I'm sure Kracka will remember this and get a kick out of it.

I had bought Eibach Prokits and hadn't installed them yet. Kracka had installed his quite a while back. So one day we are going to Cobb in his car and he asks me "How do you like the Prokits?" and I responded "Dude, you know I haven't installed mine yet. Why are you asking?". Well he in turn responds with "Dude, you know my car has Prokits...". THAT'S when it hit me. I didn't even notice the difference, lol!

Haha I like it. I work right by that area and it's not far at all from my house, would love to meet up anytime you're free!

Get the Eibach pro kit, comparing it to stock, I love the ride. It's a little stiffer, what else you expect, but handling is AWESOME i must say. If you have aftermarket wheels, I suggest you roll your rear fenders. I am currently driving on OEM until I can do so.

If you would like more info on them, ask Kracka, he helped me decide on this choice over the Swifts.

depends on what you are doing with your car.

DD - prokit
track/autocross - swift

I run prokit and dd and track/autocross my car and love them, but the swift are a little more for that kind of thing.

Everyone else has said it already, but the Prokits are a great choice for daily-driving and street cars. I have nothing but good to say about mine, nice drop, great ride quality, stiffen up nicely in the corners, etc.

The timing of this thread was perfect. With all the stuff I am getting done to my car next week, the one thing we were unsure of was which springs to use (well I was unsure, but Kevin already knew).

You wont regret it. Changing stock suspension to eibach pro kit and whiteline R and F sways bars literally was the BEST thing I put into my evo. Ef2 is probably the next thing lol

I agree with the prokit, the ride height and comfort is pretty awesome! Get the Hotchkis sway bars though, I got the entire set for a little under 300 bones from StreetSideAuto.
