Question about NTEC

So I was wondering, I dont have an Evo, but an Evo look-a-like in my Evo-built Ralliart. There arent many around North Texas, but plenty of Evo's.

What are the specifications to joining NTEC?

No specifications or hard requirements. Only requirement is having an Evo since it's the North Texas EVO club after all, however we have a few Evo swapped Ralliarts in the club so...just come and hang out.

Hey! We have had this discussion several times and the overall concensus is that Ralliarts are more than welcome to join. We are not a formal club and just want to have a good time. That being said, if you rice out your car, you will be shunned. Haha. There are several Ralliarts in DFW so don't feel singled out. There is a also a fairly high hp Ralliart in our club.

Please define an Evo-built Ralliart.

Well I have the Evolution Turbo, Injen intake, AMS Upper and Lower intercooler piping, AMS intercooler, Grimmspeed boost controller, Walbro 255 fuel pump, AMS Turbo back full exhaust, cat delete, and custom tune by Jotech Motorsports in Garland.

Some visuals are Seibon carbon fiber Hood, trunk, and roof hedgehog(not sure exactly what its called)

Sounds like a fun car! You need to post up in the Bio thread and show up to the meets, then you will be a member, welcome to the group..

Yep, I would qualify that as an Evo Ralliart. Haha.

I guess we'll make that the new official term.

As it was explained to me, the more recent model Ralliarts are pretty much Evo's anyway because their parts are basically parts from prior-year Evo's that got lumped together in one car. I like to think of mine as a "FrankenEvo." The main differences these days are slightly different body styles and a smidge less power and torque.

If mine qualifies without the Evo X Turbo, I'd say yours qualifies with it (plus there's at least a handful of us Ralliart guys in the group already).

It'll be sometime in the middle of the month on a Saturday. Actually, next month is going to be huge for NTEC. We've got a mega-cruise happening on the 3rd (there's a thread about it called "Hill Country Rnd. Trip Cruise"); there's a Dublin cruise on the 17th and then Cobb's grand opening/meet as well as the usual NTEC meets (3 of 'em, all of which are stickied).

Check the threads and the calendar and get ready. It's going to be a busy month.
