Texas - front license plate
Texas - front license plate
I'm sure most already know but the front license plate law is back... well, technically the law never left but the fine was accidentally left off 2 years ago.
Well, it's back and effective as of September 1st.

First! haha, yeah somebody (probably you, sorry still new) posted it on the FB page. Yeah, about two years ago, I was pulled over for speeding... go figure, and the cop gave me a warning for my front plate. It was sitting on my dash, and still very visable by oncoming traffic. So, be careful if your heading through Grapevine!

I got pulled over on Tuesday on GB and the officer didn't say anything about my front plate. I think it will be like it always has been, some counties and towns will go after it for easy money, others won't waste their time.
It's still a fix it ticket, so put it on, drive to office, pay $10 go home and take it back off. I'm personally not drilling into either of my evo's bumpers lowering the value of my car. They can suck it.

I agree... BUT ridiculous or not, just be aware that it is probable cause and it is the easiest one to spot.
Just make sure you if you drive without one that all your other ducks are in a row (inspection, registration, insurance, and much more serious things).
