Dyno Test at Quantum - November 19

I just spoke with Mark at Quantum Racing in Columbus, Ohio, and arranged to use their Dynopack facility on Friday, November 19. There are about 5 of us coming from Cleveland, and we would like to join Evos/WRXs from Columbus, Cincinnati, and other areas as well.

If we gather enough cars (about 10 or so), we can rent the dyno for the entire day from 9:30am - 6:30pm. We can do unlimited pulls and tunes for a total of $800 ($80/car). Otherwise, we can schedule individual appointments for $100, and it'll include setup and three pulls.

So far we have:
DJPretzyl
Dr. Fob
GirlsREvol
Latesleeper
Liljapnboy

Please reply if interested. All are invited!

This will be a fun trip. I'm looking forward to seeing what I am putting down at the wheels.

Evos from Columbus and Cincinnati - Are you still interested in meeting up? Let me know soon so I can change the dyno reservation.

At this point, we still don't have enough cars to justify renting the facility for the entire day of November 19. Those who are interested may contact Quantum to schedule an individual appointment, or you're more than welcome to just hang with us.

Do it on Sat and I am sure more people would come. I am willing to come to hang out, but not to Dyno.

Another car group has reserved to use Quantum's dyno for a half-day on Saturday, Nov 20, therefore they are not able to accomodate our cars.

By the way, we still very much like to have a stock car to run a baseline dyno for comparison. Anyone interested?

So when are you guys going to start doing your baseline runs? And it's going to be $100 for baseline pulls then? If I'm able to come, I can't get down there earlier than 3-4pm....

Just got back from dyno-testing at Quantum Racing. We did three pulls with different settings of the MBC. The best result is at 20.5psi, producing 275whp and 306lb/ft. We tried raising to 21.5psi but the car ran hot and didn't produce as much power.

My other engine mods include A'PEXi power intake, RS-R 3-in downpipe with cat delete, Helix 3-in catback, Dynoflash, and MBC.

I got 267 HP and 277 ft/lb of torque at 19 PSI of boost. I could have ran a couple more pounds of peak boost but didn't have time to adjust my maps.

It was fun. I would like to get this done again if I add some more mods.

Mods:

Xede (Stage 0+)
Espelir 2.7" Downpipe
Ultimate Racing 3" High Flow Cat
GReddy Evo2 Exhaust
Evo MR BOV

Sorry I couldn't make it down with you guys. I'm in next time if we get a chance to go. I figure I can guesstimate my whp when we do some spirited driving...

No, everybody bailed out on us, even the local guys.

According to Quantum, a stock Evo puts down about 220-230hp at the wheel
