Nascar to build track on Staten Is.

I was listening to the radio this morning and they said that Nascar was finaly going to build a track on SI. Hopefuly it's true and we will soon have a good track to use. If anyone has any info please post.

Holy moly, I'm only 15 minutes from SI, that would be hot.. well, kind of. I feel the novelty of driving around in an oval would wear off quickly for me, haha.

Well hopefuly they will also have a road track since nascar would only use the oval track about four times a year.

I also heard this. Almost all oval tracks have at least one road course if not more. Pocono has two.
