By May my car will be significantly less stock. I don't think it will be uber appealing to the eye, but hey...It's not like I've really got anything to lose if I do decide to join, right?

QUOTEQUOTE
The 2003 edition of the Carlisle Custom Compact Nationals has an all-new judging and show field format. If you're attending the show with a car, PLEASE read all of the following information.

Show field structure:
The show field has been broken down into two different sections. The first is the judged field. For 2003, Carlisle Events has hired a staff of professional car show judges. Gone is the participant ballot system, which means you don't have to walk around judging cars and can take part in all of the other activities at the show. Now a professional will judge every car as the Top Flight competition was judged in the past.

Speaking of Top Flight, this class has been eliminated. Over the past few years, the number of cars wishing to enter the class has exploded, and with room for only 50 cars, a number of owners never got to take part in the class. The top class on the field will now be "Radical" and there will be a Radical class for imports, domestics and European cars.

All cars taking part in the judged show field must be in place by 10 a.m. Saturday, May 3, and must remain in place until they are judged. Judges will not return to a class to judge cars that were not ready. If you are going to participate in the judged field you MUST pre-register before April 12, 2003.

The second part of the show field will be the Fun Field. There will be no judging on this show field, as it is for owners who wish to come and hang out in the center of all of the action and park with friends. All of the club tents will be placed in the non-judged field. If your club members are in the judged competition, they MUST park in class on Saturday to be judged but can park with the club on Friday and Sunday. Pre-registration for the Fun Field is not required. It costs $35 before April 12 and $45 after April 12 for the Fun Field.

AGAIN!
If you wish to be part of the judged show field, you MUST pre-register before April 12, 2003, and you must be parked in your class by 10 a.m. Saturday, May 3!
