ECLC Spring Meet!!!
Well, winter is here in full force and I know lots of us are dying to put our cars back together as soon as the weather gets nice out, so I have decided to yet again take on the task of organizing a Lancer and Evo meet for this coming spring. I hosted one last year around the same time and it was pretty decent. We met at a Mitsubishi dealership, then caravaned to the Shriner's Children's Hospital (specialty hospital for extremely sick children with special needs) where all of the kids were outside waiting to see our cars. We all parked in their lot and the kids were ablt to come over and take a closer look at them. I had arranged to have an authentic RalliArt Crew Shirt from the Mitsu rally team there, that was given to the car that the kids liked the most. We then did another drive-by infront of the Ronald McDonald House which is a non-profit org that helps out families is need. After all that we were able to go back and chill in a lot that had a hot-dog cart (Ihad arranged to be there for food) and we had birthday cake for one of our own. Lots of fun for all those who came!!!
I am looking to organized another meet for the entire ECLC this time! I am getting the ball rolling early so that everyone has time to give suggestions and get time off. As of now I am thinking that it will be sometime in early April, in Springfield Massachusetts at the New Basketball Hall of Fame. It is a great location because they have a hotel, restaraunts, and the Hall of Fame all surrounding one ginormous newly paved parking lot! Even if this is a long drive for some, it may be well worth it because Six Flags New England is about 10 minutes drive down the road, there is a brand new hotel where the meet will be and the Hall of Fame itself is amazing!!!
We will have plenty of space for every ECLC member and family if they want to come.
