Hey nice racing today guys. I wasn't able to keep my streak alive today. But, the evo's made a nice showing and were kicking some butt. That GG Evo even looked pretty darn good with white wheels on. .

 

i can't thank you enough for letting me borrow the wheels/tires for the day. those things are a blast, and they were just the leverage i needed to beat colin. otherwise i fear he would have left me in the dust.

in fact, he did all day long, until i got lucky on my last run and figured out what the roundish, wheelish looking thing sticking out of my dashboard was.

great driving as usual guys, glad everyone had a good time.

and colin and dave, thanks for the help switching wheels and tires today.

 

oh and colin, that note you left in my cooler cracked me up. i went to grab a bottle of water, and on top i see "i owe you 1 chicken sandwich, and 1 beer"

Considering that all i've been thinking about is AutoX and my wicked sunburn, I will probably try gettin out there for Cans and Cars. I've been scanning over the SCCA AutoX rule book for the past hour figuring out what I can put on and what I can't. All I know is, I DON'T want to be running against R compound guys like I was yesterday - stupid lack of catalytic converter...it looks like there is no way around it.

 

Thats why you go out and just have fun - I run with those guys on all-seasons at North Park but I sure have a blast whipping the car around.

 

Plus the clutch. You can't upgrade the clutch in Stock classes. SO you can't run STU without a cat huh? You can run the Street tire index class also then at steel city events if your on St tires. Colin followed my advice and did very well.

 

how are they really gonna know if you dont have a stock clutch, besides mayyybe driving it? or is lying like punishable by death r something
