local Pittsburgh Meet
dan, theres gotta be someone out there. im not saying im gonna be the one, but you're gonna get touched eventually
get your ****ing car done already! i cant be the only one having fun this summer with some buschur built madness. all i got left to save for is the BR drop in bottom end, some bf272s, and maybe upgrade the 35r to an HTA86. tax refund ftw!!

As far as the rumors of the potential supra's out here our way. I am not too concerned yet. Maybe if they actually hit the streets.
Hey man I got a couple family vacations stirring up this year , family first car a close second
. I give 2 shlts if it gets done or not but I think it will be
Yeah dan we'll race, except I'll be honest with you. Just to see how much boost it takes for each car to be comparable. Then you can crank the hell out of it and see what she does. It'll be great honestly, I've never had a car that could pull me on the street and you should be able to get it done.
EDIT:
We will *probably* have to meet more towards my way out altoona. The reason being, look at that radiator, its a honda del sol radiator and I don't think it'll make it through pittsburgh traffic unfortunately.

It will be interesting to see what boost each turbo will require to be comparable. only thing I see being a hard part to dial in is spoolup differences between the 2.
Plus the weight factor of each car will be different , but atleast we can say hey turbo A in a X weight car requires Y amount of boost to go as fast as car B with X weight and Y amount of boost.
Actually sounds llike a fun experiment I am all for it
If yours comes on quicker even if we were able to get close in speed / power output you will most likely see the power sooner and leave me and it would be hare to play catch up with same power level.
but we can tool around with leave rpm's even if we roll and see if we can get them close

I'll tell you something that I didn't tell eric. If your within 100-150 lbs of full weight, I'll be able to hang with you with about 200 whp less. Not only is my car lighter, but its geared much better than an evo and worse off yet I'm much more aerodynamic. Eric wouldn't have stood a chance because my **** is ****ing on from 3500rpm's to 8 grand. I would have been out 20 cars before he even figured out how badly he's been ****ed with. If we are playing the turbo spool up game I'll concede, I'll let it happen how it needs to to have a race. See thats the difference, erick was a knowitall ****stick and you at least realize how the real world is sometimes. I'll keep the video camera off and out of the car, unlike what I was going to do with eric when I schooled the **** out of his "700 whp" car in my real 400hp pice of ****ing **** salvage yard part toting, left over scrap metal used to make parts, handmedown performance parted DSM. Also unlike eric, I don't give a **** if I break something. I toasted a motor one time, cost me $200 to repair. Unless its a safety issue I'm racing. Also yes I know of a few good spots. The best part is if you want to come the whole way to altoona I can get us a nice safe spot and I have friends that know the local cops. I can also get a bunch of cars for you to race if your up for a night to run. SRT-4's, turbo hondas (that tend to blow the **** up), and probably a cobra mustang. It only happens on sunday nights and in central PA. Not naming places and dates over the internet. We'll talk more when the time comes but it will take an email and/or phone call.
Also, free tip. Run the stock mitsu fan as long as you can. Nothing in the after market will outperform it ever, ever, ever.
Yes no need to reveal locations. We will do this , and yeah if I am driving out definitly line up a group of cars.
But first things first I got to get it finished yet
I know your a true to heart racer , And I wouldnt be at all surprised by anything win lose or draw. Its all fun for me and I will be jonesing big for some action when its done.
I would like to come out to your track as well , I know that you get a shlt load of runs out there unlike PRP , I hate that place its just that its 20 minutes east from my house.
But I am sure I will need some good seat time to get back into the groove with the new setup.
If I could get some serious weight out of the Evo without spending big cash and comprimising its safety for the street I would do anything. I truly have only dropped around 100lbs so far I think, I have to look at my llist not sure. But I do know of a serious quick way to drop another 60lb. real fast and can go back in real fast. I just really dont want to roll around that way

We always hit up BSD for one or two good T&T before the season starts. If that is too early I'd suggest a fall T&T. Either way I have a 200 mile AAA toe for you to use if you should need it. If you don't want AAA to handle your car (they have done a find job with my friends car in the past) I can ask a personal favor of a great buddy of mine, just pay gas and tip him a bit. Either way I'll take care of you.
I'm friends with the track owner so we can set up whatever. Also don't forget about the Blouch turbo bash at BSD: http://www.beaversprings.com/
David might even be making after talking to Chad. At any rate that will be a ton of fun, MAKE THAT EVENT IF YOU CAN! I want to race my DSM not the Evo but want to bring an evo or 2, be that guy! Travis, if your reading this and will be home that weekend you can take my Evo down if you don't want to race yours since its your DD.
