sorry to hear about the meet john.
I'll try to make it to the next one, the lersoc one at the end of the month, I talked to Eric and he said he's gonna be there, so I'm guessing there's gonna be some other lancers showing up.
If not, maybe we'll organize an early november meet ? a "meet before the 6 months winter" (<- I hope not !) type of deal ?

Couple of us are still around....from my aspect I've been out of town more often because of the lovely day job.

I plan to be at the Lersoc meet next weekend, I hope for the last fall hurrah we can get a good combination of ppl/cars there.

Slovak, I never responded since I didn't know my schedule. I thought I could drop by but a funeral kind of messed up my weekend plans....

For the other guys I think it was bad timing because a lot of people ended up at NOPI in Norwalk.

b!tches and wines about someone set up a meet somewhere, etc. I went about that here and asked Doug to poke around LERSOC, which he did, and we all know the results of that meet, so the rest of ya all.... pucker up, because I have a nice dark place the sun don't shine for ya

 

Eh, that's life. I've had a couple meets that no one attended. It's a fact of life.

Sure it's a fact of life Doug, I know that. It has just been a greater fact lately when it comes to meets. Between the two car club communities I can count on one hand the amount of people that even have conversation with me, so for the rest of everyone else, read the previous post.

 

Oh, I understand totally. After the last two debacles I scheduled, I vowed to not schedule any more meets. And I haven't.

Life is busy, you have to do what you can WHEN you have the time, free time is scarce for me and many others nowadays. That's why we have hobbies like this to forget about whiny stuff, deadlines, rules, schedules, bosses, etc....

But, I still am glad to have met and know ALL of you!
