Help

So I am purchasing an EVO in the next month or so, and I have gone to the local dealerships to get a test drive. As per usual they will not let that happen. I really dont want to purchase a car w/o first having some insight into it. My question, which might seem like a crazy one, can anyone let me test drive their car? I am willing to pay to do this. I travel throughout north jersey on a daily basis. If anyone can help i would greatly appreciate it.

walk in the dealer with cash/money order or some kind of proof you can walk out the door with that car if you wanted and they will let you drive it

and better yet, don't show em the money first thing, just wait till they refuse a test drive, then whip out the money and be like "Oh well" and go to another mitsu dealer.
I know for a fact that that burns them up
