MMC: Meet in York, PA in April
Just wanted to let you guys know that the Mitsubishi Motors Club of York, PA will be having their first meet of the 2005 season in April. An exact date will be finalized and posted on our site and on this thread. We had a great 2004 turnout at every event.
The club has almost doubled in size since this time last year and can not wait for the first get together. More meets, more dyno days, and for the first time possibly an autocross event! Should be fun.
The meets are mainly attended by Lancer owners. Evo owners, non-Evolution Lancer owners, and Galant VR4 owners make up the bulk of the events but any Mitsubishi product is welcome. We have had Mighty Max trucks, Diamantes, Talons, you name it!
The first event will be a meet. Most likely held at a park like Pinchot Park just outside of York, PA. or.... possibly another dyno day at Wagner Mororsports.
We have a core group of about 40 owners who are on our emailing list and will soon recieve more details about the meet. If you have never attended a meet and would be interested in coming you can either respond to this post or email me at dmeluzio22@aol.com.
Questions comments and concerns are welcome. If you would like ot see pictures from previous meets to see if you may be interested in attending you can view them on the sites listed below.
As always the club does not cost anything to join and the meets have no admission fee. We will have club T-shirts, and banners for sale and soon will be producing a club calendar. If you are interested in having your car featured on the calendar let me know. We will also have the ever popular door prizes.
Hope to see you there and watch this post for the exact date. It should be set by the end of the week.

bump.... i'm down with dis woooot! i have my evo 8 wing installed and hoping to have my cold air intake by the time of this meet so my car sounds tight!

Dude I'll be able to make it. The later the better except the last weekend of the month(my brothers wedding) 10th,17th, and 24th are best for me....just let me know the exact date. Thanks

Your Yoda kicks butt! Glad to hear you can make it. As soon as I know the date I will let you guys know. I will know NO LATER than by this friday. The exact location is being finalized.
Reason I am waiting on that is we may be able to strike a deal with a local Weis Markets grocery store. They will let us use their open empty huge parking lot next to their store and I will arrange to have food catered for the meet by the Weis!
The manager has to check with corporate on the insurance reasons but we should be good to go. If that does not fly then we will use a park in York as the meeting place.
Should be a blast. I just started this post a bit ago to get the word out to outta towners and sent the local guys and gals and email this morning. I have already gotten about 15 yes responses since this morning! I am sure we will have 30 people and depending on weather 40 or 45 is possible.
Tomorrow morning I will start putting together the list of people who are in for sure and who are maybes and post it here.

Of course you know that I'll be there Derek! Hopefully the weather cooperates with us again this year so we have nice weather every meet like last year. I'm just not sure which Mitsu to take - April 1st can't come soon enough to drive them again.

u know how hard i have been trying to get to a meet right buddy!~! I just checked my schedule for work and i am off the the third week in april that is the 17th, so please have it on the 17th and i will be there for sure. put me down as a deff as far as being at the meet.
