not gonna make my tune am i?

#1. I live in New Hampshire and im driving down to TurboTrix on Wed the 6th for an 11am tune.

I am in the middle of installing my cams right now but theres a huge problem. Everything went smooth until it came to reduce tension on the timing belt. I have no tool nor does any store around here sell an 8mmx1.25 threaded rod. Obviously i cannot streatch the timing belt over my fidanza cam gears.

---i just want to make sure...the tensioner adjustment is slightly above the tensioner itself. You need to remove the small rubber plug then thread the rod in through the heatshield part then into the tensioner adjustment fairly deep. Right?

WHAT AM I TO DO!? Tomorrow is a holiday and no one is open and im supposed to leave on Tuesday morning.
