Could someone please help me out and inform me about any Mass state laws against aftermarket exhausts. I was pulled over earlier today and the officer told me there is a law against modifying your exhaust system. He didn't pull me over for the noise, it was because he saw that my exhaust was altered. I have no problem paying the $50 dollar fine if there is a law against putting on an aftermarket exhaust but I haven't heard about it. Thanks guys.

 

I have never heard of that, but I know that certain exhaust are legal like Borla and some others because they go through the licensing stuff.
