GF picked me up three oil filters for the Evo... Purolater.. knew right away they wouldn't fit the Evo. They're free for the taking if anyone wants to pick them up in Londonderry, NH. Sorry, no time to ship.

dont the 03 evo's use the same oil filter as the regular lancer? i thought they did? isn't it the same part number?

 

no the oil filters are different. although i did find out the the oem filter for the regular lancers are the same as the turbo dsms. i have a 2g gst and a evo, and my girlfriend has a lancer oz so i buy one filter for the evo and the two other cars share the same part number.

 

evo is the same as the v6 3g eclipse, not the regular lancer.

 

Agreed. I use factory filters..... but I try and keep the GF out of the garage.
