NYC DSM - Fall 2005 Picnic - October 8th

Hey guys, my name is Matt and I'm a mod @ NYC DSM. We want to invite any you EVO guys who want to come our annual fall picnic on Saturday October 8th.It should be from 11am-4pm(will post definite times closer to date)

The picnic is at Ross Dock in the Englewood/Alpine State Park right next to the George Washington Bridge under the Englewood Cliffs.

Its 5 min from the Bridge and right at the first exit.

You take the UPPER LEVEL of the Bridge and stay in the right lane which turns into the Palisades Parkway. Get off exit 1, make a left at the end of the exit ramp. Now you're going down a long crazy hill that goes down the Englewood Cliffs. At the bottom is a traffic circle. Go straight through the circle towards the George Washington Bridge (the humungous bridge you just came over). Now you're on this cliff road about a mile or two and you'll get to another traffic cirlce. Take the circle to the parking lot. Its called ROSS DOCKS. Theres a little pay booth there but I think parking might be free after September. Not sure on that one.

Here is a map:

If you take the lower level by accident, you cant get on the Palisades Parkway directly from the lower level. You have to get off the first exit you can and then go local and find the Palisades Parkway so you can get off at exit 1. If you miss the Palisades Parkway, go north on local 9W until Palisades Ave, make a right and that will turn into the crazy road that goes down the cliffs. This is why its a LOT easier to make sure you take the upper level.

If you have any questions-feel free to PM me,our check out our board's post on it http://www.nyccdsm.com/phpbb/viewtop...?p=87809#87809 .

Please post if your coming so we can get an idea on how many people are going to show. Thanks again

Matt
