Auto Accident

Alright i searched the internet trying to find answers and since I can't find anything I figured i would ask here. Well I was rear ended in my work truck while I was completely stopped a week ago. My family said the insurance company of the other guy was gonna call me, and offer me money. He hit me at about 45 mph and I was completly stopped. I really don't want to sue the poor kids insurance company who hit me All i was wondering is How much money they are going to offer me...

Yea this has happened to me before. Unless you claim injury, which if you're not injured and you do decide to fake injury it's a dick move, but hey they ****ed up i guess. But yea be nice, accidents happen. They have to pay to fix the car to the normal state it was in before the accident, unless there was previous damage to the rear end in which if no one saw the damage they won't deduct anything. But if the car is damaged they'll fork up book value of the truck to replace it. Most likely they'll just repair the rear end and hopefully you'll never see or talk to them ever again... (trust me i know cause i'm accident prone... 1 year 5 accidents bought the car new for 17,175 and there's been over 18G's put into repairing the car throughout those accidents...) Sucks that cars/trucks never run the same after they've been in an accident...
