Emissions in WV?

I live in northern Virginia and my Evo is highly modified to the point that passing emissions in Virginia is unlikely. I've recently bought property in WV and I was wondering if I could register my Evo in WV to avoid emissions hassles.

Does WV have emissions inpections, specifically in Hampshire County?

Heh, the "farm equipment" option probably won't be necessary. WV doesn't require any sort of emissions inspection. The only thing they do is a visual check during the safety inspection to ensure all factory installed components are still present. All of mine are still present.

I dont have a cat, and I am throwing a check engine code, and I got an inspection sticker...obviously it helps if you know someone... In WV though you have to have a cat, but I dont think its too extensive, just ask around where your property is, and someone will most likely refer you to someone who will slap a sticker on your car...there are soooo many lifted trucks with rust...and somehow they get an inspection sticker....the thing to do, would be get some property in Ohio where you dont have to have an inspection sticker....

---> WV = Straight billy...no chaser....

Like I said, all my emissions stuff is still "visually" on the car, including what appears to be (even to a trained mechanic) the catalytic converter. What's missing on my car is the factory ECU. This is an issue in VA but it doesn't appear to be an issue in WV since it doesn't seem they do ODB2 scans.

Thanks for the confirmation. Loks like my car will be garaged in WV by the time my emissions comes due in October 2006.
