yeah i was there with my bro it was ok the best part was when the stock evo was killing every car out doing 12.7 stock verus car's that have thousand dollars worth of work .oh yeah the kid did a best et of 16.4 all he has is a fake short ram intake with a fakeass cheap apc filter,and rmr axle back exhaust.iam goin on wensday with my broand bestfriend.two lancer oz, mirage sedan 1.8l,and a 1989 coralla gts twin cam.so if any one want to join just show up this wensday were all going to race.

 

If that evo managed a 12.7 I don't think it was stock. Even the best SCC could get out of a stock Evo 8 was a full second above that. I suppose you could chalk it up to drivers, but 1.1 seconds is a BIG difference and it's not like they haven't driven performance cars before.

I gotta head down there sometime. Prolly won't be for some time though. I don't think I can even go in early May cuz I'm going to the Custom Compact Nationals the same weekend in Carlisle, PA.

 

oh sorry he had no muffler, k and n filter and that's all i seen .no boost controller,just stock looking .i was surprised and the lancer doin 16.4 pretty much stock thats not bad.so you sure you cant make it on wensday anybody want to join us up there.

 

I have work 9:00-5:15 every day and classes after work Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday so the chances of me being able to go are roughly 0%. Otherwise I'd see what I could do. Once summer comes I'll have a different schedule at least and more free time (read: less classes). I would really like to take a trip down there at some point, but I have no free time and it's a bit of a drive for me.

 

anyone know how far this place is from DC???....id like to find somewhere else to go beside my 1/8 mile strip here, and im a little tired of going to somerduck and summit point

 

Actually the evo had a boost controller and an Apexi S-afc

 

englishtown is at least a 4 hr drive from DC. it's in central jersey.
