Tarmac Black here.. I've got almost 800 miles, no problems, and some great kills (and one nasty off the line bog) Already designing some speed parts and beginning to research some of the aftermarket. My goal is to get into the 11's.. This car is just too slow for me, but overall very impressive. BTW, West suffolk, got mine on the 19th... Sorry I've gotten a few PM's from many of you, and if your from the Island, get in touch with me, I'm planning on tuning my car heavily, and probably could use the help, if not access to stock, and mildly tuned cars in my area.

Can't wait to get my hands on one to work at when we start getting them in at the shop. Just wait talking to hks and there are tons of parts coming within the next few weeks.

Got mine at MSRP but had to go to PA to get it.

Haven't seen any others in Westchester or Queens yet. Got envious looks from WRX'ers in Flushing Queens though.

I removed my front license plate horror..... They drilled a HOLE IN THE BUMPER!!!! I couldn't believe it. I filled it with a black plastic speed bolt. Isn't that nuts? I also installed a cell phone kit for the Motorola T720. Other than that I have about 700 miles on the car and so far have loved every mile!!!! I am in western Suffolk Long Island...anyone nearby?

I talked with my dealer (Boch Mitsu Norwood, MA) in great lengths about mounting the front plate and they were also in agreement that no hole should be drilled, and come to find out none is needed. The lower right hole matches up nicely to an existing bumper bolt hole while the upper right just sits against the bumper itself unattached. The left side is held in place my the mesh front grille. Overall very clean look an no holes.

Bill,

I think the plan is to drill a hole. Who needs it. It makes more sense to me to work around it like your dealer did. On your profiles picture I don't see a plate. Is that before it was installed?

Happy motoring!

Brad

Yes that was just before I picked it up. I can take pictures of it on the car if that helps you any.

Take Care
