Thanks avengerhed, 2literv8eater, and EVOM3. I made the RT-23 run today. You're right, what a great road, especially between High Point and Port Jervis (and I even saw my new favorite road sign from above!). Even better coming back from Port Jervis towards High Point as you take those bends going downhill. Wow, what a rush. Thanks again guys :-)

Now all I need to do is explore all of those side roads off of RT-23. Some looked really good.

No problem, glad you enjoyed the roads. I know there is some roads that will take you from Port Jervis to Dingman's bridge through PA or something, not sure because I'm usually following my buddies on bikes, but look through a map or something you'll find the connecting roads.

Also off Rt. 23 in Franklin area, there is a light where you can pick up Rt. 517 N and head up towards Warwick NY, RT. 94 and 515 are great roads and 515 will put you back on Rt. 23. Anyway good luck exploring.

It's funny that I've lived in NJ all my life, and I never gave the roads much thought. Anyway, now I am, so I'm looking for suggestions for any decent roads/routes in NJ for a fun Sunday drive with lots of twists/corners/bends and not too much traffic. Anything in central NJ would be a bonus.

Thanks

For some kick butt roads you should check out the Spring run in Northeastern PA in May. The link is in my signature. Its worth the drive to meet up with the 12 Evos going already..

There are pics of the road and a map of one hot portion. Its an old mining area and the run goes down several great back country roads..

Link anyhow.. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...ferrerid=43762

Yeah, I saw that post, and I'm hoping to be able to make it. In fact, depending on how late I'm out this Saturday night in NYC (and how drunk I get ), I'm hoping to take a drive out there this Sunday to check it out.

Its a shame your doing it Sunday because I am going out Saturday for the first prerun and see how winter has treated the roads.. If you find you are going to make it, please sign up on the thread for updates etc.
