I recently bought a Sony CDX-M7700 CD player for my car....and i tried to install it...but the harnest dont match up....then i tryed matching up the wires but they are different colors...anyone wit any suggestions...or kno how i can put the radio in....because i dont want to return it yet....??

 

Buy a Mitsubishi harness for Sony stereos. They normally go for like $30. On the package (or in it) you'll have instructions on how to wire it (color map).

 

Yes definately buy the mitsubishi radio harness. The sony harness wire colors will correspond to the aftermarket mitsubishi wiring harness and they are even labeled so you really cant go wrong. I hope you didn't cut the stock harness in the car yet.

I found mine at pepboys but im sure crutchfield carries them . Remember your buying the harness for your car to hook up to the harness for your stereo. Your not buying the harness for your stereo.

 

you can pick up the adapter harness at any audio shop!

 

Circuit City or Best Buy will carry them to. Just tell them you need a wiring harness for a sony radio to a mitsubishi (evo of course)
