This topic has been covered in another post, but I'll add one.

You could try Westboro Mistu, but there are others.

Westborough mitsu sucks donkey *****...SERIOUSLY! I bought my car there and the service department is a joke. I recommend the Natick hundai/mitsu dealership. I know what you are thinking...hundai WTF? Yup, Westboro sucks so bad that instead of only having to drive 15 minutes I would rather drive 30-40 minutes and get my maintenance done there. Everytime I have had things done there they are reasonably priced, and decent work has been done, no issues so far. I actuall asked them to take a look at the air filter one time during an oil change and the guy said "it says hear that you had it changed at your 30000 maint. and we recommend them changed every 10-15000 miles, so you don't need one". They could have easily stuck me with one. They also are fairly leanient on mod's.

That being said, no were you go is going to approve a tranny warranty issue without the mitsu rep. Gary Castro to come and check it out and/or get his approval for the maint. My past experience with the guy has not been good either. I think he is a azzhole and will try to blame you for the problem as much as he can.

Good luck, you will need it.

I go to the hundai/mitsu dealership for the past 3 oil change/maint. including my diff's+tranny which I had done only a few months ago. When I go there they have never told me they couldn't do anything. I haven't tried to bring any warranty issues up with them yet. I will be inquiring about some warranty stuff soon.

Give them a call and see what's up.

I used to go to Natick Mitsu. Sucks to hear all the negative press on Westboro. I know a DSM'er that is Mitsu mechanic that was at Natick and just started working at Westboro and he is mod friendly. Maybe things in the service dept will improve now that he is there. I had good luck with the parts manager over the phone with orders at Westboro. I just figured since he is there now it would be a good option but maybe not...
