I'm taking my car to Roby Mitsubishi (Columbus, Ohio) to get my t-case looked at.

My car is still under the 60k powertrain and my t-case has a rattling sound in gear and off the gas.

My only mod is, I have a boost gauge and I have new slotted rotors. I think I should be okay what do you think?

Anyone else know how lenient the Ohio reps are?

I'm not sure if Columbus has the same reps as Cincinnati..but in Cincinnati they are great. Everyone I know has had zero trouble getting their stuff fixed under warranty. There were even a few of us that got their calipers replaced (due to peeling) WITH racing pads, fluid, and non stock rotors.
I had my calipers and rear wing replaced under warranty and they knew it wasn't stock. They even reset the c.e.l. due to my cat delete pipe

^^ lol! that's funny.

Well wish me luck and I hope it is the same reps. it's just my t-case, it's not a "wear" item. If they fix it for me, I'm going to get them to replace the clutch at the same time. I prob have to pay for the clutch though..but I'm happy I'm essentially getting a new transmission. I also need my syncros fixed. My 2nd and 3rd are getting crappy.

I bought my car from there about a month ago. And I talked to Dave the Head Tec and he was very noligable, he has been a tec for 16 years.
From what I gathered from him, was that is pretty cool about modding the car as long as you keep the stock downpipe and cat. converter on the car, warrenty is no real promblem.
I was asking him cause with me being a VW tec, I know what VW looks down on and I was curious about

^^I just went in and Dave took a test drive with me. Dave struck me as a guy who knows Evos...I def trust my car with him. He diagnosed the problem by the sound and I'm dropping my car off with Roby next weekend. Hopefully, the reps would approve the warrenty fix.

just an update...basically no hassles in getting my warrenty approved....so Roby is replacing the t-case for me for free and the part was shipped overnight. The only delay in this process was the 1st two days in which they couldn't diagnose the problem until they put the mini-microphones on the car.

I'm pretty happy.
