Heard anything on the Helix Hollow cams?? Gruppe-S has them for $399 shipped right now, Supposedly they made about 10hp more then the HKS, but thats vendor talk so who knows. I shouldnt need anything more then the Cams, Gears, and a Fuel Pump right??

Ultimately its a daily driver, it doesnt really get tracked due to having the time so thats my main concern. Being able to drive it comfertably. Ali has the 272/264 HKS setup which ive been in his car and love. But if i can get something a lil more aggressive without scarificing much for cheaper then im all for it.

If you dont already have a TBE do that first. Then a drop in, Then either headers for some more top end(with a little sacrifice down bottom), or just do cams(gears aren't a neccessity but good) and absolutely a pump. Then of course, a tune.

as far as getting something more aggressive, the price on the cams really doesn't change much if at all. You just cant go too aggressive without a standalone. i'd say the 272 pair or 264/272 like alis got would be ideal. It depends where you want your power. The 272 pair will give you nice spool and top end. The 264/272 combo will give you good spool but better low/mid range.

oh and if you want to set a day to install em lemme know =o)

Yah ive got a full 3" TBE already with Test Pipe, HKS RS Intake, IC Pipes, Xede running a V360 map, So ill order all the 272's, Pump and probably the gears just to get them done and out of the way. Hey if you can do them then why the heck not set a day!!!!

The headers would be easiest to do on my lift at home. The cams...actually doing them both the same day would make the most sense...I'm not familiar with xede, could you just get a different map to use with the new cams?

headstuds would be a good idea. If your not gonna go crankin up the boost that much they wouldn't be that necessary. Definately wouldn't hurt though. It would be a good idea to get a custom tune as soon as you possibly can to get all the power out of those mods. Thats a good amount of **** goin in. A custom tune for it would be key.
