Need help, rebuilding a built 4g93 head

exactly what the title says.. i've been having some really bad problems with my valves.. so its time to rebuild the head.. i dont want to buy an oem one because i will lose major power.. for those of you that dont know much about my car, its a completely built 4g93 (1.8 SOHC) from bottom to top. the head has been ported/polished, 3 angle valve job, etc. like i said i dont want to get an oem one, so i might as well rebuild this one, now for the hard part.. i need some help, i dont really KNOW what im doing when it comes to this... so anyone that knows their stuff would really be apprieciated to help me diagnose my problem/ fix it.. i've been having really bad tapping noises, and the car wont idle right, almost sounds like it has a massive vaccuum leak, but i checked out all the hoses and i/c pipes and found nothing. so my last resort is to find a bad valve in the head... once again, im not big on rebuilding anything like this... so any help would be appreciated.. im in Worcester MA, hopefully someone can help me. if you would like to help me please just give me a call, my names Dan you can reach me at 508 735 2637 or PM me, and ill give you details on how to get to my house, the car is in my garage right now, and im pretty sure i have all the tools to take the head apart, if not i can always go buy some, im going to be taking this apart starting tommorow morning 7/21/06 (friday), food is on me! pierre or any of you guys from autobon i know you guys are local, if you have any spare time, give me a ring! please! - thanks (btw im pretty sure i saw derek with the grey MR drive up and down sunderland road like 5 times today, right when my car broke down on my street)
