Have fun in the convoy guys....I'll also be leaving Milford around 7am-ish, wanna be there early for the autox and have the tires changed.

FYI, 95S the whole way is quickest, especially early in the morn, just be careful in the NYC area some of those roads are brutal.

The Tap isn't that much slower of a route than the GW though. We'll probably take it friday night (the Tap, I hope) to avoid some of the NYC mess.

I would actually recommend the Tappan Zee on a Friday night going south over 95S. We've been getting killed trying 95. Total added time to our trip is about 10-15 min taking the 287 vs 95 straight through, this is coming from the Jersey Shore area to CT. 95 remains the winner during early morning/late night trips though.

Sorry I didn't get back to you about those tires before Stew, I think I'm gonna be doing a track day in the fall and I'm gonna burn them up myself.

On no problem, we ended up getting a set of OEM STI tires with 350 miles on them, for the price of 1 gatorade

I wonder what class they'll put is in for the Shootout with an Evo on STI tires

My understanding is that last year they had 4 classes. Stock on Street tires, Stock on R tires, Modded on Street tires and Modded on R tires.

I was hoping they would have a superchallenge like the Honda Day, but unfortunately it doesn't look like thats gonna happen. Autox is still the most fun, so thats where I'll be, trying to keep Kevin and Jan at bay....both on fresh tires those bastards....hahaha

I don't really know, I typically make it a habit to arrive at events early to avoid any problems. I'll try and get in touch with some of the guys running the event and see what they say. My guess is I would like to think they had first car off by 10:30am, 11:00 at the latest but that may be wishful thinking.

Where are you in Milford? I live a couple minutes from Pruven too, right near Subway HQ.

Hey all. Change of plans for me. Two things came up and I'm not going to go now. One of those things is the weather! I'm not driving down with two kids and have it get rained out or have them get wet and cranky. http://www.weather.com/weather/weeke...41?from=search

Have fun with the ducks.
