There is a diner on route 140 about 40 min south of boston that holds classic car shows every thursday, i can go check but im pretty sure we could use it on a weekend. Its a little bit in the middle of no where but ive been told the food is good and theres lots of room and its RIGHT off 140 which is just off route 24 (anyone from boston can get there easily taking 93 south, anyone from RI can get there via 195, anyone in my area already kows how to get there ) Doesthis sound like an ok location or does anyone want to suggest something.

Time : Saturday Sept. 23rd 4:00 PM

Place : Star Drive-In, Exit 10 off Route 140 in Lakeville/Myricks MA.
- This drive in has been having car and bike shows for YEARS. All informal stuff but everyone goes. Wed. night are bike night, Thursday nights are classic car night.

To do : This place is REALLY easy to get to, its on a long empty stretch of 140, the food is good and theres a big shopping plaza on one end of 140 and Newbedford on the other end. Its maybe 40 min from boston, maybe 35 min from the Dartmouth/Newbedford area and is easy to get to from RI as well.

yo, i'm looking to getting an evo, but it'll be a couple of years b4 i do... are there any rules against showing up in a dodge stratus? I want to scope out the scenes to get a better idea of what im getting myself into.

yea thats cool but it be easier if it were closer to boston but i might be able to make it. i know for sure id be able to get like at least 15 people to go if it were up more north.

 

What about the Liberty Tree Mall car show on Wed. Its about 20 minutes north of boston. And always has a good turnout of classics. Theres a good following of latemodel v8 guys there too(ooh the tension ). It would be fantastic to get even a dozen or so evos to show up. I'll be there tomorrow if anyone wants to come check it out.
