Just bought a new ix, currently have 378 on the odo, and I'm having problems with 2nd/3rd gears. I am driving the car according to Mitsu's break-in procedure. If the problem persists, I need to bring it to a competent, trustworthy, will do the right thing dealer. Am I asking for too much? Are there any around the tristate?

 

well.. first where are you? second what problems are you having exactly? grinding? not engaging? driver shift error lol? what....

 

If your anywhere near connectciut i highly recommend going to schaller Mitsubishi in new Britain. PM DRAGIN, he is the service manager there. He is a great guy. I had a few transmission issues with my 03 VIII and he took care of me

 

There are so so many tri state areas. Which one is yours?

 

I live in Queens, but work in Orange, NJ. So anywhere in between would be convenient.
