Im really sick and tired of getting pulled over for no front plate, is there a way to petition the state of NJ to adopt the way PA does there plates?
It is a completly bogus law for 1 reason--
Everytime i get pulled over about the front plate they have no problem finding out who i am and who the car is registered to.....because i have a plate on the back of the car, where they can SEE IT when i am pulled over

I guess having a front plate helps with public safety.....lol

I think it is for the shore towns so when they want to write you a parking ticket they dont have to get off the sidewalk

And NO I will not put my front plate on the car

i have the same problem.. i get pulled over for it all the time. cops are soo annoying. there lazy and need to find something to do!!!

 

I have a front plate and have no issues with NJ's finest.
But, I'm with ya on this.

I agree with you all. Front license plates are worthless. I was so happy when I moved from Maryland to PA and I could get rid of my front plate. The only thing is now I need a new front bumper.
