Hey guys,

I am looking to get a tune done on my Evo IX SE sometime soon...and perhaps having a few bolt-ons installed and wanted to know what places you go to in the Greater Philly area.

Im in Chester County (West Chester/Downingtown/Coastesville) area and dont want to drive to North Jers or somewhere far...

Any help is GREATLY appreciated. I have been loving the car 100% stock for 11,000 miles now and i think its time to crank up the boost and throw on a few parts to make this baby really FLY!

Well I'm not sure how far you are from Reading but you could always go to World Motorsports in READING, PA. I'm sure you know who Christian Rado is well that's his shop and I'm pretty sure one of his main mechanics is heavy into DSM's but I could be wrong....just a suggestion.

 

Reading isnt that close actually...but its not too bad....and i certainly know who Rado is...

CBRD speedfactory in york. he has an all new facility complete with an AWD mustang dyno and has a project evo(used to have a IX as well)and many customer evos and subies. he's a member on this forum, just search "CBRD" and PM him. he's a really awesome guy to deal with.

I second CBRD speed factory in York.

 

there are pics of his car and shop in his threads. do an advanced search for username CBRD to see his threads. i do most of my own work, but i don't tune, so he's the best bet, and he does a good job. you'll have no knock coming from him. tell him i sent you.

Where is your shop? Can you PM me some info/details/pics/etc......i am still in the early stages of this project but after driving STiiiiKillers niiiiiiiiiiice Evo IX last night i just might make this happen in the next week or two

Do you have any addtional info to share with me about your experience? I am only 15 minutes from Gap and would consider this option as well.


I am not playing favorites here guys --- just doing research and seeing what will work best for my schedule. I work A LOT and travel A LOT too so driving up and down the East Coast isnt something i can/want to do.

Yea right man...im just going for a few extra HP and added fun-factor.

If i get addicted then maybe ill go for more, but by that time some serious cars will be on the market and i might have to check them out
