Just wondering if anybody has heard anything regarding a possible date change due to tomorrow's forcast. Weather reports are saying that it's going to rain like mad tomorrow, so I'm just wondering what will happen to the car show. Nothing is posted on their website about weather.

 

i heard it was rain or shine a bunch of where going to go but then where thinking were gunna back out because of the monsoon.

 

Since it's a "university's" event there's no way they can have a rain date... esp in april with finals and all other year ending events... it's not going to pushed back.. rain or bust.

yea, im pretty sure I am... it might be just me and the boosted G though...I have to wake up at effing 6:30 though.. if it's clear/drizzling I'll go, but its down pouring at that time hell no.. I'm also going to call up turboDan (on this forum) and ask him how the weather is as he lives 10 min from UCONN.

 

i was gonna head over with a few friends, but the weather is definitly not going to cooperate

It has been RAINING pretty good here all morning
Did not drive up to see if they are actually having it.I will drive over and check it out and report back.

About a dozen were there when I stopped by,and saw a friend that had been there since 11:00 am and said that there was only about a dozen or so all morning/afternoon just different people coming and going all day but no one hanging around due to rain

 

dam that sucks i was wicked excited about this show to!

oh well WPI show next sunday!

 

I wanted to go to the show but the rain was just too much. sucked because I stayed over at a friends place on the RI/Conn border to make my commute easier. Substituted the time by seeing a movie instead. FYI don't bother seeing Aqua Teen Hunger Force in theatre. Wait for video, tv program is better and only had a few worthwhile seens. C-ya all at the next big meet.

 

was there like a lil bit of a turn out at uconn today?? i was thinking of going with a few freinds just to check out the cars.... (ps. also dont see redline or disturbia)
