I propose a meet at this location:

Canarsie Piers, off of Rockaway parkway. There is a huge parking lot over the ocean with views of the ocean.... I might be down to bringing my fishing rod also..

How about saturday May 19th @ 12PM at Floyd Bennet field in the parking lot by the Aviator Sports reacreation arena?

and later on we can pass by Canarsie Pier?
