Come on, there has to be someone in the area going.. ?!?!

 

My friend and I went sat n sun. Sat was a bust cause we got there sort of late... like 3-4'ish or whatever, but the rain.... blah. Today we got there at like 1'ish or so. Saw a yellow 8 in the area itself, and a white 8 in the parking lot. But all in all it wasn't worth $50... period.

 

We didn't end up going because of the rain Saturday.. then we found out it was $25 a person and $5-10 to park Sunday so we said F that.. That's way too much and I heard it wasn't worth that much $.. I heard that the yellow Evo was there hooked up nicely.. Oh yeah, where are you from??

 

Hum. It was like $25 a head to get in, but a friend of ours drove his car in for a flat rate of $40 and he brought along his gf. So theoretically I guess you could get in for the flat rate with as many heads as you want. I'm actually sadly from the area, my friend who I went down with is from Liverpool and I'm farther out in the Clay area. The yellow evo was nice, I didn't inspect *that* closely but it looked stock... then again stock it looks just fine. I don't know what the deal was with the white one in the parking area... it was just chillen... shoulda drove it in. The events were whatever... they had some dyno challenge... $80 to enter... and you won some Valvoline oil or whatever? WTF is that... some bass challenge that was a joke... then that was about it. There were a few notable cars, the rest were just jokes... a few bolt-ons... a little engine bay dressup... rims... lower it... *maybe* a kit or paint-job. Nothing all that great. For $25... you should have gotten something free... a sticker... evo 8... I don't know. Dunno I gotta go do a shot of espresso before I die... no more drinking

 

Yeah, I heard it was just the typical cars of kids who threw some rims on and a busted up a body kit and entered it.. That's awesome that you are from Syracuse.. I've yet to find someone from the area on the boards.. Do you have a Lancer?

 

Apparently there's a few 8 owners in the area, when my friend and I stopped by Burdick Mitsu the guy had sold 2-3 already and this was a while back. Someone else saw 2 outside Dunkin' Donuts or whatever... 2 old guys or "older" had them. I don't own a Lancer, I was thinking about it but for the money it wasn't the best choice at the time. I've seen a few reg Lancers driving around. So until I move and clear up a few things... my total car spending budget can't exceed about 5g's.
